It’s that time of year again when The List magazine publishes their updated Edinburgh and Glasgow Eating and Drinking Guide - the 17th edition of the Eating & Drinking Guide is out now and is included with the current edition of The List magazine.

Edinburgh’s Urban Angel takes the List Readers’ Award. The Edinburgh newcomer of the year (for showcasing Scottish and sustainable seafood) goes to Ondine, the seafood restaurant in Edinburgh’s Old Town. The Edinburgh newcomer of the year (for putting real food into neighbourhood eating) goes to The Water Of Leith Cafe Bistro, on Coburg Street. The Edinburgh Blog hasn’t reviewed either of these restaurants yet, but will make an effort to visit both soon.

As ever inclusion on one of the The List magazine’s “Hitlists” is a big bonus. There’s no surprise to see Edinburgh Blog favourites such as The Bon Vivant, Mother India Cafe and the fantastic Tapa Barra y Restaurante included.
