Snow hits Edinburgh again

And so I woke this morning to a nice snow covered Edinburgh and snow still falling. The wind was also blowing fairly heavily; whipping the snow across the streets. At the time of writing there hasn’t been any snow fall in about 6 hours so it looks to have passed. Generally, the council seem to have done a decent job of gritting the main roads and keeping them flowing. Of course it could freeze overnight, which might mean persons slipping and sliding tomorrow! Still, the snow brings great photo opportunities and I’ve shared some of a snow covered Edinburgh castle and views across Princes St below:-

Apologies for the lack of updates of late - but reviews of Zizzi in the West End, The Sizzlin’ Scot on Dalry Road and Ping On, the Chinese restaurant in Stockbridge, are en route.
