Edinburgh Christmas Lights Part 4: Winter Wonderland & The Edinburgh Wheel

This is as all the pictures I have taken so far of Edinburgh at Christmas this year. However I hope to add some more of the lights in the West End/Dalry area and the Grassmarket area in due course.

The photos today are from Edinburgh’s Winter Wonderland - which is set up every year just off Princes St and in Princes gardens, near Edinburgh Waverley train station. The photos below are from the focal point of Winter Wonderland, namely The Edinburgh Wheel. This costs £2.50 per person and runs until the 8th January 2006:-

The Winter Wonderland, along with many stalls and the German Christmas market located close by, also has the Bungydome (where children can bounce around on elastic) and a merry go round:-

The Winter Wonderland ice skating rink is open until 8pm. This costs £8 for adults and £7 for children (there are family passes available). Given how freezing cold Edinburgh is at the moment I would imagine the ice is fairly decent now!
