Yesterday as I was waiting for the ‘Green Man’ to light up on Princes St, I snapped this photo of The Edinburgh Wheel. I promise this will be the last one ;-o But thought it looked superb with the sun behind it:-

I was on my way to Edinburgh Waverley train station to pick some tickets using the Fast Ticket machines for some travelling I will be doing over Christmas.
While on Princes St I popped into the Romanes & Paterson Scottish goods shop. This was to buy some toffee and fudge to deliver back to the folks back home, when I visit them for Christmas. I found a little bit of history on Romanes & Paterson here. This Scottish shop has confectionery by the bucket load, including fudge, toffee, shortbread and jams. It also stocks Scottish themed clothing including kilts, ties, scarves and blankets. In the back area is a fair selection of Scottish whisky. It’s a huge shop and a good place to pick up a Scottish gift for friends or family. I bought 115 Gram tube of Scottish Fudge (£1.60), small box of whisky fudge (£2.25), small box of Highland butter toffees (£1.99) and 12 small tubes of Whisky Fudge (£2.25 a piece). Hopefully this will keep people happy at Christmas!
