Nah, I aint the real one! But a sinister impostor as wants to set the record straight. Nuffin’ Foul Mouth or Gina can say will e’re impress itself upon anyone’s bosom. For they are far too trapped in their own Machiavellian morosity to appreciate things for what they is. Ye’ve only got to see me treading the limelight flavoured boards in Shakespeare’s The Tempest (2010) t’ see me spangly talents for yerself.

I notice your comment was written on September 9tth 2008 - prophetic indeed, as moron Brand has done what we all knew he would at some stage and mess it up. Never funny, Brand represents the worst of modern culture, celebrity for celebritys sake, the louder and more crass the better. Talent is not a prerequisite for success when you’re dealing with the “Heat” magazine public that Brand appeals to - and the tawdry and poorly written piece above would indicate that the writer of this slack diatribe buys in too.
Don’t go and see Brand - he wants to be Steve Coogan dressed as Adam Ant, but doesn’t even have the talent of the latter. I agree with Bob Geldof on Brand.

Russell Brand is a prime example of what happens when society is dumbed down, resulting in incompetent spokesmen pandering to its lowest common denominator. Russell Brand proves that gratuitous shock value, Irreverence and cheap shots are poor substitutes for real talent. At low points in history, inferior elements often gain the ear of malcontents, enabling those like the far left, and it’s shallow clique of celebrities to gain the attention of mindless lemmings who will blindly follow their counterparts like a stampeding herd, thugs in a lynch mob, or lost souls who worship a golden calf. Since these types have no real substance, luckily their existence is usually short lived.
