> The table layout within the restaurant has been adjusted to maximise guest comfort - particularly in the area you were first sat in

> We have now started to check with guests after they are sat that they are happy with the table they have been seated at - if not we will move them, where possible depending on the evening's availability. Should a guest arrive without a reservation, they will be given a table that is free at that time should we have one

> We have very recently launched a new menu - the average price for a starter on this menu is £6.50, and for a main course £16.65. This menu is an improvement on the previous one, and I am confident that should you return, you will be pleased with the quality and presentation of the food

> We have implemented a new system for monitoring the speed at which guests' meals are brought to the table - there is now a clear line of communication so that guests are kept fully informed should there be any delay in the preparation of their food
Servers in the Rutland Restaurant are now allocated less tables per shift - this means that guests should not experience a delay as you did, with your wine. We have also looked at the temperatures in our fridges and adjusted them to the appropriate levels for the particular styles of wine

> The 'order of service' to which the staff work has now been reviewed and improved upon to maximise each guests' enjoyment of their experience at The Rutland. We want our staff to come across as friendly, knowledgable and professional.
