The Outsider was my favourite restaurant for a long time - mainly because of my love for the delicious Soupy Stir-fries! They would even prepare mine with out coriander if the particular one I fancied had it in it! So you can imagine my devastation when i went last year only to find they were no longer on the menu - I just didn't know what to do... or order! Perhaps a petition should be started to get them back on the menu!!! I just wanted to day that I totally agree about the Soupy Stir-fries! We eat in The Outsider quite often and have been to the Apartment a few times too. The Apartment seems to be quite child-friendly too, and the menu is delightfully healthy throughout. These two restaurants manage to balance on that fine line of trendy-but-still-classy, AND they're friendly, too. The Outsider is ideal for first(ish) date, with the romantic views to the castle if your lucky, and The Apartment is better if you want a cosy meal with friends. Absolutely two of my favourite restaurants in town! And true about the Soupy Stir-fries, if they're gone they will be missed. What an accurate review!
