Just before the return to work we headed for a carvery at Toby Carvery in Corstorphine, Edinburgh. Then drinks and watching the football at The Murrayfield Hotel.

Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Street Party 2005
For New Years Eve and the Hogmanay celebrations in Edinburgh I headed to the Princes Street Party, along with 100,000 others and saw the excellent fireworks on Castlehill.
